Centennial Memento

      Centennial Memento Date: 1980

      Condition: 10

Bronze keychain given to Kodak employees in 1980, the year of the Kodak centennial. The keychain has an attached plaque containing an authentic 3-cent United States postage stamp honoring George Eastman. The stamp was issued in Rochester on July 12, 1954 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Eastman's birth.

The keychain is shown in its presentation package above. The left panel of the liner reads: 1980 is a year to recognize and recall the work of many generations of Kodak people. For 100 years, our company's success is the measure of our people's successes: their dedication, their innovation, their commitment to excellence. Our Centennial is a time to look back at our accomplishments and a time to think ahead towards our future. Above all, it is a time to remember, as George Eastman encouraged us: "An organization cannot be sound unless its spirit is."
