Although the beautiful wooden box is marked "KODAK FILM TANK", the actual film tank is the
nickel-plated cylinder on the right. The "winding box" is used to wind the film
onto a reel with a light-proof apron. The reel is then placed inside the tank for
development. The combination allowed the user to develop film in daylight conditions. Used
