      Lens retracts into camera body for storage. Very nice little camera, made in Germany by Kodak, AG. The Instamatic 500 originated from what was to have been a half-frame Retina. However, the folks in Rochester apparently redirected Stuttgart to the new 126 Instamatic format before it made it into production.
