Walker's Greenhouse Journal
Reworked "environment control center". The fan/shutter control thermostat now has insulation on the top and south sides. During the daytime, sun shining on it would heat it up about 10 degrees above ambient temperature. The heater has also been replaced with a cheaper simple heater. The internal thermostat in the heater senses the temperature inside the heater, which is quite different from the greenhouse temperature. The solution: I added a separate heater control circuit, with a digital thermostat on the wall directly above the heater. | |
